The American Pianists Association nurtures the artistic growth of America’s top young pianists by focusing on creative expression and career development. Our largest and most prestigious support is given through a biennial competition known as the American Pianists Awards. Since our founding in 1979, the American Pianists Association has supported 46 winners.
It only takes a few minutes to understand why Chatterbox has earned its reputation as the Best Dive Jazz Club in Indianapolis, inspired filmmakers and generated dozens of news stories. The live jazz is unforgettable. And the place is most definitely a dive. It’s a combination that has inspired a loyal following of music lovers for decades. It wasn’t always the place to go for live music. When David Andrichik purchased the building that housed Chatterbox in 1982, he primarily was looking to make a real estate investment in downtown Indianapolis. The bar on the first floor of the building was just part of the deal. And there wasn’t much going on along Massachusetts Avenue, with the exception of a few shops and some sketchy activity in nearby buildings.
the band etc. . . is a seven piece variety band based in Indianapolis featuring three lead vocalists and a horn section. This versatile combination gives etc… the ability to authentically cover a wide range of musical styles from rock to Motown to country to big band.

The Indiana Blues Preservation Society is dedicated to preserving our blues music history, celebrates recording and performance excellence, supports blues education and is working to ensure the future of this uniquely American art form. Founded in 2015, The Indiana Blues Preservation Society is in the process of becoming a member of The Blues Foundation, which has over 4100 individual members and over 200 affiliated local blues societies representing another 50,000 fans and professionals around the world.
